AP/AR Accounting Associate hourly pay rate = $25.00Job Summary: - - -This position supports the corporate accounting department that in turn supports a collection of high performing, privately held automotive group of 16 dealerships in Southern California, Texas, and Florida. The Accounting Associate reports to the Staff Accountant at corporate office in Newport Beach, CA. We expect potential candidates to embody our core values of excellence, integrity, continuously improvement, and accountability.This role will perform accounting projects, detailed general ledger accounting, payroll and general ledger postings, account payables and account receivables. Exceptional training will be provided, and the position requires meticulous -attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Essential Key Duties & Responsibilities: - -

Daily accounts payable for corporate accounting department with proper backups and approval.Daily deposit and manage all receipts including ACH or Wires.Post general, standard, and payroll journal entries.Review income statement to match with the intercompany billings including income tax payments.Prepare monthly intercompany billings and account for all receipt of payments.Maintain and ensure accuracy of corporate trend report for expenses.Collect, review, post all corporate credit cards at month-end. Ensure all credit cards charges are in compliant with company's policy. Perform, verify, and classify financial data from various sources.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly cash flow.Trial Balance and Balance Sheet review.Prepare month-end closing reports.Responsible for filing year-end 1099.Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.Assists with ad hoc assignments.Work and understand the accounting software DealerBuilt. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.Education and Experience: - - -

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Window and Outlook .Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting general ledger. Proficient in use of PC, 10 key and typing skills.Excellent organizational skills and relentless follow- up High degree of accuracy and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsAccounting Degree is prefered -Powered by JazzHR
