Job Description:

A beauty company in California is actively seeking a dynamic and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Accounts Receivable Representative. In this role, the Accounts Receivable Representative will initiate outbound calls to customers regarding past due invoices, document the call interaction and set follow-up reminders
Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Representative will:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balance, aging invoices, billing discrepancies and account holds
• Perform account reconciliations
• Process and post customer payments (eCheck, credit card and lockbox)
• Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts
• Review credit application, assess credit viability and maintain AR files and required documents
• Process all required business transactions with accuracy in all relevant systems (NetSuite)
• Interface daily with sales representatives (internal and external), customers, and distribution as necessary to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
• Assist with special projects as directed and/or assigned by management
  Qualifications
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to type at 40 wpm with accuracy
  • Ability to learn various other software programs to include NetSuite and Hubspot
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitaskDesired skills
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
    • 2-3+ years of credit and collections experience
