Position Summary: PATHOLOGY AST 3 HX What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications: * Must possess the skill, knowledge and
ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
* Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job *
Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements relating to decedent
affairs * Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements for CAP,
JCAHO and California State laboratory law for Anatomic Pathology *
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English *
Completion of a 2-year Pathology Assistant program and Pathology
Assistant board certified or eligible by hire date * Completion of
a 2-year Pathologists' Assistant program (NAACLS accredited) and
ASCP Board Certified * Bachelor's Degree in a Science field *
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload *
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
across the Health System Preferred Qualifications: * Experience
working in a UC and/or union environment * Experience in an
