We're actively seeking a talented Value-Add Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Strategy Team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be on-site or hybrid.

As a Value-Add Marketing Specialist, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by developing and executing value-add and practice management marketing campaigns to generate brand awareness, promote thought-leadership expertise, and support the marketing of life insurance product solutions and concepts. You will fill a new role on the Marketing Strategy team in the Consumer Markets Division (CMD). Your colleagues will include Product Marketing Strategists, Relationship Managers, and fellow Marketing professionals. You will work closely with the Advanced Designs Unit (ADU) to ensure the content drives engagement and educates customers on advanced concepts across distribution channels.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collaborate with ADU to transform raw content into polished marketing assets
  • Execute value-add and practice management content, campaigns, and webinars using print, digital, social, advertising, and event media
  • Formulate the campaign strategy, and identify deliverables, communication mediums, resource needs, timelines, and desired metrics
  • Manage content calendars and promote continuing education materials, white papers, national webinars, blogs, podcasts, and field/firm requests in a timely manner
  • Work with other divisions to optimize resources and create content that can serve customers across the organization
  • Develop new and manage existing value-add marketing materials such as women & wealth, social selling, and practice management
  • Responsible for keeping campaigns and projects on track

    The experience you will bring:
    • 5+ years of marketing experience with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
    • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with excellent time management and organizational abilities
    • Proven success in designing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, web, and events
    • A highly motivated self-starter with an attitude that gets things done
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and use data and analytics to make informed decisions
    • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functional areas
    • Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills, with a talent for generating fresh ideas
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

        Base Pay Range:

        The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

        $77,300.00 - $96,600.00 - $125,600.00
