ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
full-school-year opportunity is available for a Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a school setting in Indio, CA.
This onsite contract position offers a dynamic educational
environment, primarily supporting students with mild to moderate
needs, and some with severe challenges, including the use of AAC
devices. The role may involve itinerant responsibilities, serving
multiple school locations within the Coachella Valley area. Key
qualifications and experience include: Valid Certificate of
Clearance (COC) required Previous experience working in schools
preferred Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred
Ability to work onsite consistently; remote options are currently
not prioritized Experience with mild to moderate disabilities and
familiarity with AAC devices is a plus Responsibilities include
providing direct support to students under the supervision of
Speech-Language Pathologists, collaborating with educational staff,
and adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs. Given the
potential itinerant nature of the role, flexibility and strong
organizational skills are essential. This contract position is
