Senior Innovation Engineer
Location: Newport Beach, CA

POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Innovation Engineer is responsible for providing project teams with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design Construction (VDC) leadership on a wide range of projects. This role works closely with company-wide teams in leading BIM transformation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage models for each project and prepare for the construction team.
• Provide BIM project kick-off information to the entire construction team, including subcontractors/owners and design team.
• Work as part of a BIM support team to achieve consistent results.
• Propose strategies for the use of BIM and other technologies with project teams.
• Support and manage self-perform scopes and field teams through the use of BIM-based documentation.
• Manage the collaboration of various BIM partners in cloud-based model hosting platforms.
• Daily model management administration and maintenance.
• Train, develop, and shadow staff.
• Work with all disciplines of vendors on content download and update company best practices
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Architectural/Engineering Degree plus 4+ years of experience in professional environment.
  • 5+ years' experience will be substituted for a degree.
  • Eager to support staff with positive attitude, passion, and patience.
  • Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional Autodesk products use and support:
  • Expertise in Revit 2020
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020
  • Navisworks Manage 2020
  • Working knowledge of construction industry workflows, production cycle, and priorities.
  • Experience with multiple BIM/CAD roles: training and support mentor, project team member, and strategic leader.
