are currently looking to add a talented Infrastructure Security
Engineer to our team in Newport Beach, CA. As a Infrastructure
Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing,
implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our
organization. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing,
and mitigating security threats and risks to our systems,
infrastructure, and its applications. You will also collaborate
with cross-functional teams to implement and improve security
policies and procedures to protect and hardened our assets. If

team. How you will make an impact:
- Research and be on top of vulnerability, malware, common
vulnerabilities and exposures of Wintel, Linux, physical,
hypervisor, and storage systems
- Design, implement, and maintain the security infrastructure of
the organization
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify
potential threats and risks
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to
protect our systems and its applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk platform.
Identify process improvement opportunities, and opportunities for
automation or other enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and
improve security controls and processes
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify
vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Participate in incident response activities to mitigate
security incidents
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and
technologies to ensure the organization's security posture is
up-to-date and effective.The experience you will bring:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
experience
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a
focus on managing and troubleshooting Splunk products.
- Proven experience as a system security engineer or information
security engineer; strong knowledge of data center, computer and
storage systems; understand Active Directory, Windows and Linux
operating system
- Solid understanding of security principles and practices,
including threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability
management, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk Cloud platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure What
will make you stand out:
- SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, and SCOM is a big plus.
- Certifications such as Splunk Certified Administrator, Splunk
Certified Architect, or other relevant security certifications are
a plus.
- Familiarity with application monitoring/synthetic transaction
tools.
- Familiarity with industry-standard scripting languages such as
Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code automation. Base Pay
Range:The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the
appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not
limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and
pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional
incentive pay.$93,600.00 - $117,000.00 - $158,000.00 Your Benefits
