We are looking for candidates for an engineering role in our Platform Engineering team. An ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a product mindset, and a hands-on approach to engineering best practices. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help design and implement our technical architecture, software, and tooling used to deliver and operate our core, mission-critical platforms. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and the ability to customize them to keep our business secure and efficient.
What You'll Do

• Technical Leadership: Drive individual user stories to completion, assess and identify risks, and document best practices regarding application deployment and infrastructure construction.
  
• Collaborate/Partner: Work with platform and software engineering teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
  
• Quality & Security Focused: Drive the implementation of solutions that meet quality and security standards.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Assist the team in achieving goals, provide feedback, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle for cloud solutions.
  
  What You'll Bring
  
  • 
    
  • 3+ years in cloud and DevOps fields.
    
  • Proven track record of delivering fit-for-purpose technical solutions balancing complexity, performance, and maintainability.
    
  • A balanced approach between Software Engineering principles and modern Infrastructure Operations.
    
  • Experience with automation tools like Azure DevOps, Github Enterprise, or Gitlab.
    
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
    
  • Experience with Azure/AWS SDKs and CLI.
    
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
    
  • Experience with AWS and Azure native services like Lambda and EKS.
    
  • Windows Server automation preferred.
    
  • Knowledge of git patterns like GitFlow and trunk-based development.
    
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services or Healthcare preferred.
    
  • Technical skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Golang, supporting various applications and containers, database automation, cloud cost management, cloud networking and security, Identity Management, AppSec/DevSecOps tools, and GitOps methodologies.
    
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    
    Pay Range
    $109,650 - $184,938 annually. This range is an estimate and pay depends on various factors including experience, knowledge, and location.
