Job DescriptionPlanet DDS is the leading provider of cloud-enabled dental software solutions serving over 10,000 practices in North America with over 60,000 users. The company delivers a complete platform of solutions for dental practices including Denticon Practice Management, Apteryx XVWeb Digital Imaging, and Legwork Patient Relationship Management. Planet DDS is committed to creating value for its dental practice clients by solving the most urgent challenges facing today's dental practices in North America.The Expansion Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales of the complete portfolio of Planet DDS products across the existing client base. The Sales Manager will work with a team focused on existing clients, assessing their current subscription package and suggesting additional PDDS products based off their needs. This is an important growth initiative with PDDS which will lead to growth opportunities for the right candidate. This role will be key in driving growth and helping Planet DDS reach $5 million of MRR by 2024.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Foster a collaborative and competitive environment across a team of expansion Account Executives
  • Recruit and hire top tier talent to grow the team and align with revenue goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase product adoption across the existing client base
  • Actively coach and mentor a high performing team focusing on professional development and career progression for your team
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ambition to grow and improve
  • Willing to be hands on leading client calls when necessary and assist in complex negotiations as neededSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
    • 1-5 years in a management role with a track record of improving teams and developing Account Executives
    • Ability to think strategically and to identify potential customer growth opportunities
    • Define and deliver innovative customer solutions using PDDS products
    • Proactively engage with new and existing customers to increase adoption and purchase of the PDDS portfolio of products
    • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
    • Works closely with Directors of Sales and Chief Sales Officer to ensure open communication and understand priorities
