The successful candidate will have proven experience and a detailed knowledge of industry's best practices, and processes. They will manage the desktop support staff and help shape a culture of providing our users both high Customer Service Value as well as high Technical Value. They will be responsible for implementing and overseeing required systems, such as an ITSM system for tracking and managing Incidents, Problems, Change, and Assets. • Develop a multi-year IT Operation strategy to create a seamless employee experience
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems, serving as an advisor to senior management and leadership on all aspects of IT Operations
• Implement and maintain ITIL based ITSM system to manage Incident, Problems, Change, and Assets.
• Work with department's functional leads to establish key criteria for processes such as onboarding, offboarding, changes and transfers of staff
• Lead and mentor staff to create a high performing support team that can provide high value customer service as well as high value technical service
• Manage relationships with key vendors to optimize application adoption and utilization within business workflows
• Accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
• Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center
• Act as high-end engineer and administer and manage all server systems, both on premise, and cloud, such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to include systems configurations, architecture templates and designs
• Expert in managing Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory, Intune, and Azure
• Manage implementation, configuration and maintenance of imaging solutions for automation and standardization
• Administer and manage key applications such as Single Sign On, End Point Management, Multi factor authentication, and End Point Protection
• Monitor systems availability and performance and take action to system alerts accordingly to maintain 99.9% uptime
• Act as Level 3 support for the End User support
• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededSkills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is required. Master's Degree (MIS) is a plus
  • 7+ years of public company experience in Information Technology
  • Proven working experience as a Senior Systems Engineer or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of cloud systems and services, and computer hardware/software systems
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Ability to manage personnel, be very agile, with ability to balance several high priorities and projects
