We're actively seeking a talented Director, Outsourcing Leader to join our Consumer Markets Division. This role can be on-site, hybrid, or 100% remote (depending on location).

As the Director of Outsourcing Services, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working with strategic suppliers who partner with Pacific Life to manage our business processes across Operations, Technology, Marketing, Finance, Sales. You will fill a new role that is responsible for managing the work of 9 PL associates, 35 Domestic Consultants and nearly 100 Offshore associates, in addition to TPA relationships in the Consumer Markets Division of Pacific Life. You will partner with various business areas -and bring your expertise to manage the day-to-day operations and relationship with strategic partners. You will liaison with the partners and help build a culture of collaboration and mutual respect, while meeting our operational SLAs defined to meet our Pacific Life Customer experience.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversight of day-to-day responsibilities for consumer markets Document Center.
  • Responsible for daily operations of various outsourced TPA entities.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure the successful execution of outsourced operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced operations and take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage the financial performance of all outsourced operations
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with outsourced vendors
  • Manage and direct the activities of the outsourced operations team
  • Trusted partner to business leaders.
  • Build and maintain regular cadence with business leaders.
    The experience you will bring:
    • Proficient in Life and annuities insurance domain with a deep understanding of various outsourcing models - T&M, Fixed Price, Managed Services, Managed Capacity to drive efficiency and Customer experience.
    • Experience in Outsourcing market - near shore, offshore with an understanding of right market/resource fit for the opportunity. Understanding of the financial models involved in maximize the efficiency of the outsourcing model.
    • 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years leading teams
    • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

      • Able to articulate succinctly both points-of-view (strategic partner and PL Operations) to senior level executives and drive outcome.
      • Experience leading a team and managing work to drive business goals. Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
