The Production Manager will oversee, manage, and execute the daily functions of both domestic and import production for Beach Riot. The ideal candidate will add value by effectively balancing timelines and organizing workflow to meet Beach Riots deadlines and quality standards. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Merchandising, Operations, Design, Product Development, and Tech Design. Knowledge in fabric and trim buying, lead times, MCQ, MOQ, WIP management, product development, logistics and costing are all skills needed to succeed in this role. Other important qualities are an eye for detail, having an analytical and strategic approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment, forward thinking, and the ability to keep focus on achieving larger business objectives.ResponsibilitiesPRODUCTION-Monitor factory capacity/allocation monthly-Communicate with factories daily-Update WIPs & trackers daily-Cross check Final TP (FTP), Full Circle BOM, and cost prior to issuing cut tickets-Issue cut tickets/import POs and release them to suppliers-Work closely with cross functional teams on SMU programs to meet on time delivery-Issue Full Circle POs to import suppliers and email them to suppliers-Add approval deadlines to tracker including fit and pp-Chase and review PP and TOP samples-Add SMU styles to factory trackers-Verify T&A dates supplied by Product Development team for inline at time of buy to ensure dates provided byvendors are workable-Work with freight forwarders (finished goods) pre-book vessels or flights-Maintain data integrity for delivery in Full Circle for finished goods-Contact suppliers/vendors to follow up and verify the accuracy of provided data, resolve routine productionissues, and ensure supplier alignment with processes and procedures-Collaborate and lead cross functional team members through all aspects of supplier strategy, productsafety/quality and on-time deliveries-Ensure all information in Full Circle is accurate at all times (cut tickets, stage movement, actualizingpacking list etc.)-Review overseas production WIP reports from each vendor to ensure on time key production dates.-Lead weekly WIP meetings with factory partners to ensure transparency on timelines, and quality standardsand troubleshoot any pending issues-Communicate accurate information including delivery dates, costing and quality issues with relevant cross-functional partners-Support and analyze QC inspections for each ready PO to ensure that all goods meet company or customerrequirements when necessary-Work with upper management to review and approve any shortages or overages-Update packing list in Full Circle and WIP tracker-Request delivery and send over necessary information to the warehouse-Review invoices from the factories and hand them over to the accounting (import and domestic)-Manage and prioritize drivers schedule daily for pickup at factoriesRAW MATERIAL-Issue raw materials POs - Fabric & Trim (Including basic trims - labels, hang tags)-Follow up, and monitor all Fabric & trim orders-Crosscheck the raw material packing list and POs prior to shipping-Review raw material invoices, including freight charge and duty-Swatch fabric (Self/Contrast/Lining) on cut tickets and calculate the send-outs-Manage and lead all raw material inventory-Schedule and dispatch trucks for raw materials-Check all fabric/trims (raw materials) once it arrives at the factory-Ensure all production requirements, such as colors, trims, fabric quality, and fit, are met-Review invoices from the suppliers and hand them over to the accounting (import and domestic)-Run RM report weekly and report to upper management-Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and adjust inventory when neededKnowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:-Must have at least 5 years of production experience-Must have domestic production experience-Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors on a regular basis (written and verbal)-Must be proactive and have the ability to meet tight deadlines-Must have exceptional organizational skills in order to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously-Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel-Full Circle Knowledge is a plus-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment-Swimwear experience is a plus-Ability to work independently and be an adept problem solver-Ability to work cohesively with teammates and partners
