Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Date: - Oct 21, 2023 Property: - RPH (0023) Location: - Newport Coast, CA, 92657 Division: - Resort at Pelican Hill (RPH) Position Summary:The Director of Golf Memberships, will work with the General Manager of Golf Operations to successfully sell, grow and maintain Memberships at the Club. This will be accomplished by nurturing relationships with existing Members so they will invite their friends and colleagues to join. Ensure that all Member accounts are in good standing at all times. This position is also responsible for the creation, coordination and implementation of all Member golf and social activities. -Job Duties:

• Responsible for recruiting and enrolling new Members into the Club
• Serve as the focal point for all membership inquiries and guide prospective Members through the application process which includes completion of contract and payment
• Create new member events (Golf & Social) to help maximize membership participation and also monitoring existing events to see if an event should be recurring or retired
• Along with Accounting, monitor and maintain our Membership Directory which shows the status of all Member accounts regarding renewal payments, suspensions and resignations
• Take a lead role in the development of the annual membership operating plan -
• Develop and implement prospective member recruitment programs and initiatives
• Provide Club & Course tours for prospective Members and effectively articulate the benefits of membership and all associated costs and fees
• Attend and participate in all required meetings with accurate membership-related reports
• Maintain a high level of visibility and develop strong relationships with current members working to limit attrition, and keep members engaged and supportive of the Club
• Collaborate with our Marketing Team to develop programs and social media campaigns to create brand awareness and recognition -
• Assist with providing content for the Members web-portal and creating Member newsletters to keep them informed of what is happening at our Club & Resort
• Become an ambassador of the Club and heighten brand awareness within the community by networking and building relationships with organizations
  -Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or hospitality management preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience. Previous country club, membership organization or golf industry experience would be viewed positively
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing personality, and service oriented
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously along with attention to details and follow-up
  • Must possess a passion for providing high-quality Member service and a commitment to exceeding expectations
  • Display a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times
  • Proficient in computer programs, such as, MS Office, Google Suite, Opera Compensation: Base Pay Range: -$85,000.00 - $95,000.00Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.The Company also offers competitive benefits for full time employees including paid time off, matching 401(k), and health benefits.
