Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 20:00 Experience: 3 years required; 5 years preferred License: State (CA) License required Certifications: BLS; ARRT T Must-Have: - Experience in adult outpatient treatment - Proficiency in CBCT, kV, and mV imaging - Familiarity with benign brain tumors - Experience with external beam therapy - Knowledge of IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) - Understanding of prostate cancer treatment with seeds/fiducials - Experience with respiratory gating - Proficiency in stereotactic radiosurgery - Experience with Varian machines, including TrueBeam and ARIA - Knowledge of radiation safety Description: Clienttion Therapist needed for a unit treating a high volume of patients. Approximately 60-70 patients are treated daily. The patient base primarily consists of adults and geriatrics, with occasional adolescents. The therapist will work as part of a team, including other radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, RNs, and physicians. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts starting as early as 07:00 am and ending as late as 20:00 pm, depending on unit needs. There are no weekend or on-call responsibilities. Documentation will be completed using EPIC. Grey scrubs are required, but not provided. Orientation will consist of approximately three shifts, with additional shifts as needed. Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred. Skills in CT simulation, custom molds, and patient/family teaching are a plus. Knowledge of various cancer treatment types is beneficial. Experience with emergency equipment and protocols is expected.
