Physical Therapy & Wellness is currently seeking a highly qualified
physical therapist to join our team. We are a physical therapist
owned outpatient orthopedic clinic staffed with highly trained
Doctors of Physical Therapy who are all dedicated to treating
patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. The
clinic is located in a newly remodeled, 4100 Sq. Ft facility in the
heart of Santa Monica and is modern, state of the art, and
spacious; giving patients a peaceful environment to heal in the
hands of caring and friendly staff. We are looking for a physical
therapist who excels in hands-on manual therapy, differential
diagnosis, evidenced-based practice, therapeutic exercise, and
demonstrates a strong team player mentality. We pride ourselves in
treating the whole patient including prevention and wellness. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate prioritizing patient care and be
friendly, empathetic, and have strong interpersonal skills. You
will also be tasked with representing our clinic positively in the
community and be able to effectively communicate with referring
physicians, clinic staff, other health care providers, and family
members about patient care and treatments. We have 45-minute
treatment times with each patient and each PT has their own
dedicated aide. This model helps prevent burn out with reduced
paperwork (avg. 51 patients/week vs. 80 patients/week with a 30
min/patient model) and allows you to spend more one on one time
with your patients. This is a full-time position that offers a very
competitive salary and benefits (continuing education
reimbursement, 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid holidays, health
insurance benefits, retirement contribution (after 3 years of
employment), and a generous productivity bonus. This is also an
excellent opportunity for growth both clinically and
professionally. Our clinic is also a clinical site for USC and
Mount St. Mary's DPT students to do their rotations and we are one
of the sites for the USC Orthopedic Residency Program. Mentoring is
available for any staff PT. Our Clinic is affiliated with Loyola
Marymount University Mens and Womens Basketball Teams. One of the
owners is the official Mens Basketball Physical Therapist and we
have other PTs that work with the teams directly throughout the
year. You will have the opportunity to work with Division 1
basketball players if you are interested. In addition to physical
therapy services, Matrix PT & Wellness also offers Pilates,
Personal Training, exercise classes, and Massage Therapy. The
addition of these key resources assists our patients in their
pursuits of their Physical Therapy and Wellness goals. Our highly
qualified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Massage
Therapist work closely with our Physical Therapists to create
tailored session plans that best meet the needs of our patients.
