Job Description:
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Veterinarian to join our team, providing end-of-life care
and euthanasia services within the comfort of the patients' homes.
Our mission is centered around offering peaceful and dignified
farewells to pets, ensuring both the animals and their families
experience minimal distress during these sensitive times. This role
demands a high degree of empathy, excellent communication skills,
and profound respect for animal welfare. Perform in-home euthanasia
for pets, ensuring a compassionate and peaceful process. Consult
with pet owners, providing emotional support and end-of-life care
advice. Coordinate with veterinary technicians and other support
staff. Follow up with bereaved families, offering resources for
grief support. Maintain accurate records of patient care and
services rendered. Highly skilled in animal physiology and
pharmacology Profound ability to handle emotional situations with
sensitivity Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in administering euthanasia Adept at pain management and
palliative care techniques Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
