An exciting contract opportunity is available for a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience to support an elementary caseload. This part-time role offers 20-25 hours per week on-site at an elementary school in Torrance, CA, with a contract ending June 12, 2026. The position starts as soon as possible and focuses on providing occupational therapy services tailored to young learners in a school environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students on a defined caseload - Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress - Document treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements - Participate in team meetings to discuss student development and service coordination - Utilize school-based strategies to promote students' functional skills and academic success Qualifications: - Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California - Previous experience working in a school setting is required - Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and school-based intervention - Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and team members - Commitment to working on-site for the assigned hours and contract duration Location: Torrance, California Schedule: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026 Interview: Conducted via Zoom This role provides an excellent opportunity to engage in meaningful work supporting school-aged childrens occupational therapy needs within a dynamic educational setting.
