Analyst, Corporate Actions ($30/hr contract)
Our client, a global leader in active fixed income is hiring someone who is technically savvy, has keen attention to detail and excellent social skills, and is interested in advancing your career and the team.You will be responsible for processing and managing events internally and in consort with external partners - custodians, providers, etc.

• Supervising daily reviews of corporate action events through reporting discussed with internal and external constituents
• Review Defaulted securities notifications and obtain proper adjustments from Portfolio Management
• Making sure that all aspects of the voluntary proxy and class action events are thoroughly and accurately completed prior to deadlines
• Collaborating with internal colleagues in their Portfolio Management, Credit Research, Legal & Compliance, Account Management, and IMS Operations teamsRequirements and Skills:
  • Prior experience in Corporate Actions, Proxy, Class Actions, or Data Management is required
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of experience in the financial markets, including coursework or work experience in areas related to investments, or fixed-income analytics
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income fundamentals
  • Bloomberg skills and exposure or hands-on experience with SQL, VBA, and Python. There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
