Ember provides an end-to-end platform that empowers people to realize the benefits of second-home ownership.As the Real Estate In-house Counsel, you will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally to drive legal excellence across the real estate, corporate, and HR teams, with an emphasis on real estate transactions. In this position, you will: Review and prepare real estate purchase documents, financings and other real estate related documentation and agreements.Provide timely legal advice and services in connection with the Company's real estate transactions.Oversee the assignment and coordination of all real estate closings.Coordinate and manage outside real estate counsel.Provide advice and guidance on corporate matters, including LLC formations, state-specific rules and regulations, etc.Ensure compliance of the company's real estate brokerage in several states.Understand and can interpret local zoning laws, CC&Rs, and HOA rules.
