Job Description Job Description A boutique, trial-oriented litigation practice in the Los Angeles South Bay is seeking a skilled business litigation attorney to join a collaborative team known for handling complex commercial disputes and courtroom advocacy. This role offers meaningful responsibility early, strong mentorship, and real trial experience. Position Highlights This litigation team focuses on high-stakes commercial disputes, business torts, unfair competition, contractual conflicts, and select employment and professional malpractice matters. The environment emphasizes exceptional written advocacy, detail, strategic thinking, and hands-on courtroom practice. You will work closely with partners and senior litigators, managing cases from inception through trial preparation. What You'll Do Manage business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and appellate briefs Take and defend depositions with strategic impact Argue motions and participate in hearings when appropriate Support trial and arbitration preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management Conduct legal research and collaborate on litigation strategy Advise clients on litigation posture, risks, and settlement options Build strong client relationships through thoughtful communication Engage in business development activities as opportunities arise Why This Role Matters This team thrives in a lean, high-performing environment where associates take on meaningful litigation tasks early.
