It's your job to collaborate with a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects.With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging. You will leverage your technical acumen and Revit skills to drive client projects from concept through build in a collaborative team.What You Will DoDocumentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants for a variety of healthcare projects (medical centers, medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers, etc.)Actively support firmwide sustainability and resilience goals, guiding clients and project teams toward multi-benefit sustainable and resilient design solutionsExperience delivering healthcare buildings, base building / interior design experience is preferredResolve complex technical and design issues with team to produceinnovative, technical, constructible solutionsDirect production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasksResponsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical qualityContribute to the maintenance and oversight of the project manual and specificationsConduct on-site observations and document site reviewsProcess submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIsInterface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the projectActively participate and contribute to the financial performance of projectReview and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Design ManagerContribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programsEstablish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationshipsYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school5-7 years of related experience as a Technical Designer for healthcare projectsHighly proficient with RevitLEED AP and Registered Architect (or in process) preferredExperience working in OSHPD I and OSHPD III facilitiesWorking knowledge of building codes, standards and building structuresFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentCollaborative and team-consciousMust have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships through successful project deliveryFor more information about our Healthcare practice, visit us here:at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
