Summary

As a Call Back Analyst in the Underwriting Department, you will follow up on submitted applications that have been approved or conditionally approved through our automated decisioning process with a goal of capturing the contracts. This includes following up on applications with dealerships over the phone using UACC's common sense lending approach with a focus on Service Excellence to our dealer body. Call Back Analysts play a key role in the day to day success of UACC. In this position, you will educate our dealer partners and area managers on the rationale behind credit decisions as well as gather information needed to make an informed decision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Follow up with dealerships on automatically decisioned applications in an effort to capture the contracts
  • Extensive phone communication with existing dealer partners
  • Ensure applications meet program and guideline specifications
  • Build strong relationships with effective communication between the dealership body, sales/marketing team, and funders to gain credibility
  • Ability to restructure figures as needed including negotiating to capture contracts
  • Evaluate credit reports, customer information, and application structure to make sound underwriting decisions for company profitability
  • Ability to meet monthly goals for production, quality, and customer satisfaction
