Job Description:
The company is a leading global asset management firm where
you'll be a part of the Portfolio Management Application team who
provides modern, full- stack software solutions that enable
PMs/Analytics/Risk team to manage portfolio risk for the entire
firm. We adopt lean, agile development practices and are
aggressively moving our application portfolio to the cloud. We are
looking for an experienced full-stack and/or WPF engineer who can
help our efforts to build a scalable, state-of-the-art Portfolio
Risk platform using modern, cloud-native technologies. Position
Description: You'll be a part of the Portfolio Management
Application team who provides modern, full- stack software
solutions that enable PMs/Analytics/Risk teams to manage portfolio
risk for the entire firm. We adopt lean, agile development
practices and we are aggressively moving our application portfolio
to the cloud. We are looking for an experienced full-stack and/or
WPF the engineer who can help our efforts to build a scalable,
state-of-the-art Portfolio Risk platform using modern, cloud-native
technologies. Responsibilities: - Work across our product portfolio
on both the back-end (.NET) and front-end (WPF) - Drive and
implement best UI/UX design practices and standards. - Understand
and be able to turn business requirements into technical solutions
- Day-to-day collaboration between internal teams - Ensure
exceptional software quality via test-driven development standards
- Bring a curious and inquisitive approach to solving complex
business problems - Continued focus on platform sustainability and
supportability Position Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science or other engineering disciplines: EE, Math etc;
Masters degree preferred. - 5+ years' experience in WPF, Restful
Services, and .Net C#. - Proven experience with data technologies
(e.g. Snowflake, Oracle SQL) preferred - Proficiency in JSON and
XML serialization/deserialization - Deep understanding of REST
services (independent of the application platform) - Understanding
of designing solutions for component reuse - Familiarity with
software engineering fundamentals (e.g. algorithmic complexity,
data structures, design patterns, etc.) - Excellent written and
verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience
in Asset Management and/or Financial Services is preferred -
Experience HTML5 experience is a big plus
