Job Description:

project implementation, data analytics, commissioning, and
financial analysis to identify and implement control project
optimization at scale in order to achieve meaningful results for
our clients.Altura is actively seeking an individual to join our
data analytics team, who will specifically focus on maintaining
ontology compliance and databases in our computing
environment.**Scope & Responsibilities**+ Work with stakeholders
and subject matter experts to codify and maintain tagging
ontologies for Altura's workflows,+ Enforce tagging ontology
compliance on Altura's databases by:+ Performing database review
and remediation operations to maintain up-to-date tagging,+
Assisting in designing and deploying ontology management
solutions,+ Providing training to Associates in applying Altura's
tagging ontology,+ Reviewing and updating strategies to maintain
ontology on Altura's databases,+ Recognizing and reporting ontology
issues to the appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts.+
Stay up to date with changes made to popular building tagging
ontologies (Brick, Project Haystack, RealEstateCore, Google Digital
Buildings, COBIE, etc.)+ Manage the SkySpark database lifecycle
according to best practices:+ Initial provisioning, stand-up and
configuration,+ Periodic QA reviews (after major milestones and
recurring automated reviews)+ Close-out and archiving+ Review
existing database deployments to flag and/or remediate issues with
data connectivity, data outliers, program/rule failures, and
inconsistent application of ontologies and other data quality
issues.+ Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues, and
work with internal teams to resolve.+ Develop, test, and train
others on database and data quality standards and compliance tools.
Assist users on appropriately and consistently deploying databases
to meet quality standards.+ Monitor data quality metrics over time
and implement workflow and tooling improvements to meet quality
standards. Generate and maintain data quality reports for internal
and external audiences. Assist in the development and testing of
new applications and features for data quality monitoring,
reporting and remediation.**Required Qualifications:**+ 3 years of
database engineering experience with NoSQL/Document type databases+
Strong data analysis skills working with large datasets+ Working
knowledge of one or more of the following ontologies:+ BrickSchema+
Project Haystack 3 or 4+ ASHRAE Standard 223P+ COBIE+
RealEstateCore+ Google Digital Buildings+ Or similar industries
that require tagging-based data models (document or NoSQL
databases)+ Excellent customer service attitude (internal users,
external clients, and third parties).+ Critical thinker and
problem-solver.+ Effective working in a collaborative team
environment.+ Self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity.+
Strong listening, communication, and writing skills.**Desired
Qualifications:**+ Working knowledge of the SkySpark Folio
database.+ Experience with time series trend data+ Experience in
building facilities maintenance or building automation controls
software**Location:**Newport Beach (Preferred), or a hybrid or
remote (within the U.S.) candidate will be considered.**About
