Description
Position Summary: Responsibilities include but are not limited to enforcing policies and procedures, which ensure the efficient and effective operation of pool facilities including personnel management and training. Duties involve all Resort pool operations and all other duties as necessary or required. This is a supervisory position requiring mandatory weekend and holiday shifts.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the pool team to ensure our members and their guests have a memorable experience at our pool facilities.
• Has a large presence on the pool deck engaging members and their guests.
• Responsible for scheduling, and leading a team that puts safety, service, and cleanliness as the highest of priorities. Ensures proper shift rotation and breaks are managed and/or covered.
• Organizes daily rotation and break schedules.
• Responsible for responding, documenting, and following up in emergency situations.
• Complete daily safety checks of pool equipment and the surrounding pool area. Perform various pool maintenance functions including back-washing, cleaning baskets and filters, and vacuuming the pool.
• Ensure towels are washed, dried, and kept stocked daily.
• Conduct a daily pre-shift to go over specific needs of the day, special menu items, special beverage items, and service plan.
• Ensure all team is properly groomed and in proper uniform.
• Conduct post-shift meetings to discuss shift successes and opportunities for improvement.
• Keep work areas clean.
• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Supervisory setting in a Hotel Resort outlet. Luxury experience preferred.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card and other position related certifications.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and through excellent written communication.
  • Pleasant and positive personality.
  • Well organized. Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Bending and lifting are a requirement.
    • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist, and turn for prolonged periods of time.
    • Must be able to withstand working outdoors, in all weather conditions.
