Job Description Procurement of Materials for the assigned Categories, including negotiation of prices and terms of supply. Overall responsibility for global and local suppliers for the assigned Categories Lead Category meetings with buyers across Tower's sites Initiate and cooperate on cost improvement projects, with the involvement of cross-functional positions, such as Engineering and R&D. Elaborate and maintain Category Strategy over time, including market and suppliers' analysis, business continuity plans, sourcing strategy Drive selection process of Suppliers and Materials, according to the Category strategy Monitor and measure supplier's performance and compliance with agreed terms of supply and quality requirements, through structured scorecards and business reviews process Drive vendor relations enhancement activities, as well as escalation and corrective action process. Renew existing agreements, propose, initiate and finalize new agreements to improve operational efficiency, cost, aid business performance. Apply experience and knowledge to rationalize and benchmark all sourcing spends on a continuous basis. Develop ideas and strategies to improve performance and work towards continuous improvement.
