professionals with successful leadership credentials to play a
crucial role in taking the San Diego office to the next level in
2021. As a sales manager, you will have tremendous impact in
driving Empire's future growth. You will work closely with our
founders and executives to help us drive revenue generation,
developing sales strategy, hiring, training, leadership
development, P&L responsibility, mentoring to list just a
few.You're an ideal fit for this role if you love creating and
helping run a well-oiled machine. You are excited by the prospect

so we can support hundreds of ambitious team members and clients in

well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of
prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers that
will become our biggest advocates. Areas You'll Own:* Responsible
for new client acquisition and developing short, medium- and
long-term strategy for team to follow.* Full cycle sales acumen
from prospecting, cold contacting, presentations, deal closure, and
farming.* Perform on-site and web-based product demonstrations.*
Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them.*
Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting
sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future
performance.* Create and execute a strategic sales plan that
expands customer base and extends global reach!* Meet with
potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by
understanding their needs.* Track, analyze, and communicate key
quantitative metrics and business trends.* Build and expand
relationships with customer business stakeholders to uncover
opportunities for revenue generation and account growth and
establish the role as a thought leader.* Exceptional presentation
and communications skills with an ability to work directly with
customer executives to increase footprint and level of engagement.*
Create transparency within the sales process building out a
communication cadence for reporting on progress, wins and
challenges!* Deeply understand our technology and work with our
internal teams to ensure that sales materials and demos are strong,
consistent, and reusable. * Develop strategy for qualifying leads
and creating a strategy for pipelining potential future clients.*
Own your own sales targets quickly and successfully managing all
sales activities from initial contact until sale closure.*
Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our
offerings!* Cultivate relationships with key prospects and
decision-makers.Who you are:* Bachelor's degree in marketing,
business administration or related field* 5+ years of sales
experience in B2B/B2C sales or sales management experience.* Sales
leadership experience with the ability to pursue and develop
opportunities into real client-based sales propositions.* Able to
anticipate technology and market trends and provides guidance and
feedback to the business.* A proven track record in building
long-term client relationships through the creation of value and
developing a strong reference base.* Able to deliver high levels of
client satisfaction and client engagement.* Excellent communication
and presentation skills; dynamic in presenting ideas to external
clients.* Proven ability to build follow-up strategies to close
sales - a strong track record of managing entire sales cycle from
lead generation to close, with the ability to articulate process in
a concise manner.* New business development experience to develop
and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing
markets is highly desired.* Strong organizational skills with a
keen eye for detail while managing multiple business relationships
at once.* Highly skilled at written and verbal communication. You
have an excellent ability to manage and organize multiple
stakeholders in a sales process at once.* Experience with the
Salesforce.com or Monday.com platform, DocuSign, Microsoft Office
and related cloud or web based technologies.* Positive can-do
attitude a must!* Must be a personable people person and be able to
communicate with anyone and everyone.* Team player who will embrace

start, you'll be able to work remotely. Empire was a remote-first
team even before COVID, so we know what makes for a great remote
environment.* You'll have a lot of flexibility in your role, and
will be able to help define our culture and operations
infrastructure going forward.Why you might *not* be excited:* We're
small (-20 people in the company now), so if you like more
established companies, this role isn't for you. You'll help create
our company's culture.* We're an early stage startup. Projects and
priorities are likely to shift.* Everyone on the team is extremely
mission-driven, and works incredibly hard to push towards our lofty
ambitions. Most people won't be cut out for it.* You should be
comfortable with just a dash of chaos. This is not the kind of job
where you show up and we tell you exactly what to do every day.*
Empire is an unabashedly pro-startup, pro-tech organization. If
that's not your thing, this isn't the place for
you.CompensationThis role starts off as a contractor with a
commission structure paid on personal and team revenue and will
soon include transitioning to becoming an employee with unlimited
PTO with recommended minimums, and employee benefits including
generous healthcare.* We believe you should have no problem closing
30 clients within your first 6 months and then 10 clients per month
after that. Our efforts, consisting of only leveraging our personal
networks, have produced up to 50 clients closed per month.* Our
commission structure is as follows:* Your first 1-15 clients will
earn you $5,000 for each successful close - a purchased Ecommerce
automation store.* Your next 16-30 clients will earn you $7,000 for
each successful close.* Your next 31-45 clients will earn you $8500
for each successful close.* From your 46 client onwards, you will
earn $10,000 for each successful close - resetting after a 12-month
period marked by your contract anniversary.LocationOur team works
in beautiful and sunny San Diego and are currently looking for a
remote-based individual in the Orange County area.If you were to
